1. Scope
These terms of use govern the use of Venuva (website and native Android app) by all users. The operator is Yannick Zinner, Dilshofer Str. 14, 64354 Reinheim, Deutschland (contact: E-Mail-Adresse wird geladen…).
By using Venuva, you agree to these terms. Venuva is a free service for organising private events.
2. Description of services
Venuva allows hosts to create events and invite guests via a link. Features include RSVP, bring lists, tasks/polls, and optional cover images. No registration or payment is required.
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific response times, or permanent storage of events beyond the period described in the privacy policy.
3. Host obligations
As a host, you are responsible for content entered by you and your guests. You agree to:
- only publish lawful content and not infringe third-party rights
- inform your guests about data processing (especially for sensitive information such as dietary requirements)
- treat the invitation link confidentially, as anyone with the link can view event data
- fulfil guest requests for deletion or correction of their data or contact us
4. Data processing
To the extent you process your guests' personal data via Venuva as a host, you are the controller within the meaning of the GDPR. We process this data on your behalf as a processor to provide the service (storage, display, export). Details can be found in our privacy policy.
5. User content
You retain rights to content you upload (e.g. cover photos, event descriptions). You grant us a non-exclusive, revocable right to store, process, and publicly display this content to operate the service (e.g. cover image via the invitation link).
We are entitled to remove content or block events if there is reasonable suspicion of legal violations or abuse.
6. Prohibited use
The following is prohibited:
- using the service for unlawful purposes
- automated access, scraping, or overload attacks
- circumventing security mechanisms or modifying other people's events without authorisation
- distributing malware or inappropriate content
- To extract, collect or distribute the operator's email address and phone number using automated processes (scraping, crawling).
7. Liability
We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence as well as for damage resulting from injury to life, body, or health. Otherwise, we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to foreseeable, typical damage.
We accept no responsibility for user-generated content and the actions of hosts and guests, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Deletion and retention
Hosts can delete their event at any time in the host area. In addition, inactive events are automatically deleted if there is no host activity for one year. See the privacy policy for details.
9. Changes
We may amend these terms of use when necessary (e.g. for new features or changed legal requirements). The current version is always available at https://www.venuva.app/en/nutzungsbedingungen.
10. Applicable law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is, where permitted, the operator's place of residence.
11. Reporting abuse
If you discover illegal content, security vulnerabilities or abusive use of Venuva, please report it immediately by email to E-Mail-Adresse wird geladen…. We will address the matter promptly.
In case of serious or repeated violations of these terms of use, we reserve the right to suspend or delete events and take legal action.
